CLINICAL TRIALS AND WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Clinical trials are essential for medical progress. They are used to test the value of new therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and are therefore an important component of quality assurance in medical treatment of patients. Clinical trials also provide insights into the causes of diseases and the course of diseases. All trials must be approved by ethics commissions and government authorities and must comply with legal regulations and international standards.
