Qualified training and continuing education for investigators and other personnel participating in clinical trials is of crucial importance for the quality and reliability of data gathered in clinical trials and has therefore always been a major objective of the KKS Network. To achieve this, the KKS Network has developed standardised curricula to train investigators, study nurses and CRAs for their special tasks / functions in the planning and conduct of clinical trials. For courses conducted according to those curricula and for which the results of the evaluation of the course meet the requirements specified by the KKS Network a certificate is provided which confirms the quality of the course. In addition, the medical association of the responsible states assign CME points to the courses. The courses usually take place at the site of the KKS. Upon request, the KKS may conduct some of the courses at an external site (e.g. hospital). In addition to the certified courses mentioned above, further internal and external courses, workshops and symposia on special topics are conducted. Besides to the face-to-face courses we also offer a web-based ICH-GCP e-learning course, which has been developed in collaboration with the Vienna School of Clinical Research. |
